    Friday, July 05, 2019

Drexel University will now offer an online MS in Information (MSI) with a Digital Content Management graduate major through its College of Computing & Informatics. The online program will admit students in the Fall and Spring terms, beginning in Fall 2019.

Drexel’s online MSI in Digital Content Management puts an emphasis on the technological components of the content management field. The program focuses on managing large- and small-scale content management systems, and designing, developing and implementing programming  and software solutions for information and content management. Designed for content professionals of all levels, the interdisciplinary curriculum also lets you take electives from other related fields, such as communication, business and engineering. This program is offered completely online.

“Organizations in every sector of the economy have shifted to digital forms of communication, coordination, and work,” said MSI Program Director and Associate Professor Andrea Forte, PhD. “This transformation demands a new kind of professional who understands how to strategically organize and make use of the extensive data and digital collections being generated in today’s businesses, non-profits, government agencies, schools, hospitals and virtually every institution.”
