  • Drexel University Underrated In Traditional Rankings

    Wednesday, November 18, 2015

Earlier this month, Business Insider put together a list of universities that deserve a higher place in national rankings.

While Drexel University’s excellence is no secret to us, the ranking suggests that we remain a bit of a hidden gem to those not in the know.

Business Insider constructed the list by looking at both US News & World Report’s ranking of best universities and liberal arts colleges and Payscale’s college salary report.

The ranking named several factors that propelled Drexel to number 36 among underrated colleges:

    • The median mid-career (10 years of experience) salary for Drexel graduates is an impressive $92,000.
    • Drexel’s unique co-op program, which allows students to work in the real world, fostering industry connections and sharpening job skills.
    • The brick and mortar university’s location in Philadelphia, the fifth-largest American city.
