    Please join us for an afternoon celebration honoring Dr. Susan C. Aldridge and the release of her new book, Wired for Success, on Thursday, October 2nd at the Bossone Research Center’s Mitchell Auditorium in Philadelphia or via our live virtual stream. 

    Dr. Aldridge joined the University last October and serves as the senior vice president of online learning at Drexel University and president of Drexel University Online. Her book takes an in-depth look at the learning structures, strategies and technologies that not only add value to a college education, but also promote sustainable institutional practices and policies. 

    Drexel University President John Fry will make opening remarks, followed by Dr. Aldridge, who will discuss her new book and its key findings. A book signing and reception will take place immediately after in Bossone’s lobby. Wired for Success books will be provided for free only at the event.

    Wired for Success

    As tuition costs rise, student loan debt spirals and the job market continues to tighten, the pressure is on for higher education to provide a far greater value on academic investment. But, as this call for reform grows louder, so does the debate around what it will take for colleges and universities to deliver on that promise, in a changing world and a changing workforce. 

    Wired for Success, co-authored by Dr. Susan Aldridge and Kathleen Harvatt, offers plenty of sound advice and relevant examples from “the gazelles” of higher education – those fast running thought leaders and innovation evangelists, who are boldly forging new and more effective directions on campuses across the United States. The book was published by the American Association of State Colleges and Universities.
