Student Veterans Network and Meet Employers at the Pennsylvania Student Veterans Conference

Veterans from the tri-state area recently convened at the Pennsylvania Student Veterans Conferencein Philadelphia to network with fellow veterans, employers and business leaders.

The free conference included breakout sessions on topics such as career opportunities, strategies for success, and creating an active veterans club on campus. Attendees had the opportunity to strengthen their interviewing skills and meet potential employers through a speed networking and interviewing session and take advantage of one‐on‐one resume review consultations.

“I commend the entire veteran support staff at Drexel University Online and Drexel University for coordinating a conference for student veterans in Pennsylvania,” said Joshua Lang, student veteran at Shippensburg University. “It is truly amazing to witness first‐hand how much the level of support for student veterans has increased over the last two years.”
