Drexel University Online Celebrates National Distance Learning Week Thursday, November 07, 2013 Drexel University Online Celebrates National Distance Learning WeekNovember 7, 2013Drexel University Online will celebrate National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) with its seventh annual awards ceremony, honoring exceptional leaders, faculty and staff for their accomplishments and dedication to online learning, on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University.“National Distance Learning Week is an opportunity for universities all over the world to honor individuals who have worked tirelessly to educate students through online education,” said Dr. Susan Aldridge, president of Drexel University Online. “As the new senior vice president of online learning at Drexel University, I am proud to be a part of an award-winning, nationally recognized institution that is a leader in quality online education.”More than 6.7 million students took at least one online class in fall 2011, according to the Babson Survey Research Group and the College Board’s annual survey released in January.
