DREXEL UNIVERSITY'S THOMAS R. KLINE SCHOOL OF LAW ANNOUNCES NEW ONLINE GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN PHARMACEUTICAL AND MEDICAL DEVICE REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
Drexel University will now offer an online Graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Regulatory Compliance through its Thomas R. Kline School of Law. The new online program will begin admitting students in Spring 2020.
The online Graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Regulatory Compliance provides students with the legal, regulatory and ethical frameworks they need to navigate the industry surrounding pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing, marketing and sales. Designed specifically for students who need knowledge of industry laws but do not need a JD, this five-course, 15-credit certificate covers foundational compliance skills, along with elective courses that apply directly to the pharmaceutical and medical device industry.
“The program provides students with a deeper understanding of the regulatory framework and legal risks relating to pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing, sales and marketing. As the pharmaceutical industry continues to become more heavily regulated, reducing risk and having a compliance mindset will become increasingly important,” said Joel C. Trotter, JD, adjunct professor at the Kline School of Law.
“This program provides students with a holistic and global perspective on products that play a crucial role in modern healthcare policy and practice,” added Jane Licata, PhD, JD, adjunct professor at the Kline School of Law.
