More than 1,275 Online Students Graduate from Drexel University

2015 College of Nursing and Health Professions Graduates
In a month-long series of special events and ceremonies, Drexel University celebrated its 128th commencement, welcoming more than 6,000 graduates into the Drexel Dragon alumni family.
Drexel’s 2015 commencement was the largest graduation ceremony in the schools’ history. Among those celebrating the culmination of their Drexel journey were more than 1,275 online students, residing across the United States and abroad.
Many online Drexel students chose to travel to Philadelphia to walk across stage and experience graduation firsthand. Each graduation ceremony was also streamed live to accommodate those who could not attend in person, an added benefit for Drexel’s international online students. This year, Drexel had online graduates from such countries as Japan, Canada, Italy, Qatar, Austria, Rwanda, Trinidad and Tobago and the Netherlands.
