Requirements for The MS in Business Information Technology Program
To be eligible for this business information technology program, you should have at least two years of professional experience in business or technology, along with a solid vision for how the curriculum can apply to your responsibilities or goals. You should also have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, though the program may provisionally admit those with a GPA under 3.0. Curriculum
This program is organized into four 10-week quarters per year (as opposed to the traditional two semester system) which means you can take more courses in a shorter time period. One semester credit is equivalent to 1.5 quarter credits.

Admissions Criteria
- A four-year bachelor's degree in any major from a regionally accredited institution in the United States or an equivalent international institution
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred, in a completed degree program, bachelor’s degree or above
- At least 2 years of professional experience in business or technology

- One letter of recommendation, although two are suggested (academic, professional, or both)
- Essay/Statement of Purpose
- In approximately 500 words, please describe what professional goals you hope to achieve, how an advanced degree facilitates that success, and anything else you want the Admissions Review Board to know about you.

- Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Scores are not required

Tuition
The tuition rate for the academic year 2024-2025 is $1316 per credit.
For the academic year 2024-2025, students enrolled in an online graduate academic program will be charged a graduate online program fee of $125 per year.
Merit-Based Scholarships
The LeBow College of Business and College of Computing & Informatics offer the Business Information Technology (BIT) Merit Scholarship to top applicants.
Submission Guidelines
All international and domestic applicants to the MS Business Information Technology program and related certificates are automatically considered for a merit scholarship of 20% savings off of the total program tuition when they apply. There is no separate application. Please be sure to include all relevant items with your admissions application.
