    Internet Connection
    As an online student, you will be viewing videos and other multimedia tools for your classes. Because of this, a high-speed internet connection is strongly recommended for all online classwork.

    Microsoft Office 365
    Drexel University Online students will have access to Microsoft Office 365, which provides best-in-class apps and powerful cloud services with accessibility built-in. Designed to meet the needs of people around the globe with different abilities, the features within Office 365 ensure everyone can create, communicate, and collaborate on any device.     Additional Accessories
    Speakers or a good set of headphones are recommended.

    Browsers
    Chrome, Safari, and Firefox browsers are recommended. You may also use Internet Explorer. Be sure to keep your browser updated to the newest version.

    Operating Systems
    We recommend Windows 10 or Apple OS X.*

    Network and Wireless Connections
    We recommend Integrated Gigabit Ethernet and Ethernet Cable.

    Display & Graphics Card
    If your work is graphically intensive or involves engineering design or web rendering, you should consider additional graphics memory and a large-screen laptop or an additional larger monitor.

    Blackboard
    Drexel University uses Blackboard for all online courses.

    *Many departments (e.g., Engineering and Business) require Microsoft Windows for applications which are not available for Apple computers. If you purchase a Mac, you must partition your hard drive with Bootcamp, Parallels, or VMWare and then install Windows before starting class.
